November State of the Project
Another month in the books! In all honesty, November was a lot less productive than I had hoped.
Since my last update, I haven’t done much to innovate or change my content; which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I’ve been trying my best to pick a schedule for posting, and I think I’ve stuck to it pretty well. I’ve started to get into a routine with writing and posting which has helped alleviate some of my writer’s block. I had personal goals of getting ahead on reviews, always having something ready to post; this also didn’t go as expected. Multiple times over the last month, I rushed out to a spot and tried to get it posted the next day, which could get a little stressful for me at times. I’ve been getting better about planning out my content, there’s definitely still room to grow on that front, but I’m learning everyday!
I added Pitstops to the website and Threads, a bit of a last minute addition since I didn’t have anything to post… I don’t love how it looks, so there may be revisions or a total removal. I don’t want to abandon the idea totally, but also, it’s my project and I can do what I want with it.
As December begins and keeps moving, I have some fun ideas! I have my content planned through the end of the calendar year, and I’m working on a Griff’s Guide “Holiday Edit”, which has some fun stops in store! I have also allowed for a winter break, giving me time to explore, spend time with family, and take a few weeks away from the website. I want to keep working on my social media presence, boosting engagement in different ways (since what I’ve tried hasn't really been working). With the new year rolling around, I hope to bring the fresh energy with me!
