Bad Jimmy’s

If you’re trying to find a spectacular burger joint with a masterfully crafted brand, look no further than Bad Jimmy’s! After a couple recommendations for this local spot, I headed over to their Uptown location to see what all the hype was about.

When thinking of a way to describe this place, the word that immediately comes to my mind is “cool”. I walked in and I instantly fell in love with their diner-like aesthetic; it’s playful, bright, and inviting. Their menu is not expansive, which I think is fine for a spot like this. I ordered at the counter, took my number, and grabbed a seat. I could’ve sat on my phone, but instead I spent time looking around. They had a nice collection of things to look at: art, decor, furniture, and plenty of items with Bad Jimmy’s easter eggs hidden throughout the restaurant. My food came out super quick, and I INHALED my burger. The Double Burger comes with pickles, secret sauce, and griddled onions; all some of my favorite additions to a burger. Paired with a Diet Coke, this was the perfect stop as I made my way out to run some errands.

As I was waiting for my food, I realized that I completely forgot to order fries! Because I ate my burger so fast, I decided to head up to the counter and grab some soft serve. I got vanilla, but I was intrigued by the option to add olive oil and sea salt… so I did! Let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS! I already love things with salt and olive oil, but they paired surprisingly well with the sweet soft serve. While it wasn’t the cheapest ice cream I’ve gotten in a while, it was a very fun adventure.

I really enjoyed this place! This is a perfect weekend spot to grab lunch or a quick snack, and I’m looking forward to bringing my friends here. This spot deserves the love, and I can’t wait to explore more of their menu! They have locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, and Downtown Phoenix; so you have NO excuses to not try their burgers! (peep the Diet Coke in almost all of my pictures)
